--map-by hwthread参数运行结果为Not supported

现象描述

在x86环境中同时运行--map-by hwthread和--rank-by core参数时，出现Not supported报错。

$ mpirun --allow-run-as-root -np 16 -N 2 --hostfile ~/hmpifile_2021/hostfile/hf8 --map-by hwthread --rank-by core  ~/hmpifile_2021/allreduce/AllReduce

可能原因

在x86环境中--map-by hwthread和--rank-by core参数之间有约束，不能同时使用。

恢复步骤

  1. 使用PuTTY工具，以Hyper MPI普通用户，如“hmpi_user”用户登录作业执行节点。
  2. 执行以下命令，规避“--map-by hwthread”和“--rank-by core”参数之间的约束。

    mpirun --allow-run-as-root -np 16 -N 2 --hostfile ~/hmpifile_2021/hostfile/hf8 --map-by hwthread --rank-by slot ~/hmpifile_2021/allreduce/AllReduce

    • ~/hmpifile_2021/hostfile：表示指定作业运行节点的文件路径，用户可根据实际情况进行替换。
    • hf8：表示指定作业运行节点的文件，用户可根据实际情况对该文件名进行修改。
    • ~/hmpifile_2021/allreduce：表示指定运行作业的路径。
    • AllReduce：表示指定的运行作业，用户可根据实际情况进行修改。

    请不要同时使用该两个参数，若需使用“--map-by hwthread”参数，请指定“--rank-by slot”参数。
