Introduction

Overview

Apache Traffic Server (ATS or TS) is a high-performance, scalable and extensible HTTP 1.1 and HTTP 2.0 compliant caching proxy server. Traffic Server was originally a commercial product of Inktomi and was acquired by Yahoo in 2003. After that, Traffic Server has been used in Yahoo for four years until August 2009 when Yahoo contributed source code to the Apache Software Foundation (ASF). In April 2010, it became a top-level project of ASF. Apache Traffic Server is now an open source project and is mainly used for content delivery networks (CDNs) and content providers.

Programming language: C++

Recommended Software Version

ATS 8.0.5, because ATS 7.x and earlier versions do not support AArch64.
