# 运行和验证

#### 操作步骤

1. 使用PuTTY工具，以root用户登录服务器。
2. 执行以下命令查看hostname。

```
hostname
```


3. 执行以下命令修改“runall”中的hostname。

  a. 打开“runall”文件。

```
vi runall
```


  b. 按“i”进入编辑模式，将第23行的“si.msg.chem.iastate.edu”改为“hostname”。
  c. 按“Esc”键，输入:wq!，按“Enter”保存并退出编辑。
4. 执行以下命令运行测试用例。

```
time ./runall 00
```


5. 在“/path/to/GAMESS”目录下将得到47个log文件，将其移到“/path/to/GAMESS/tests/standard”目录下。
6. 执行以下命令运行检测测试用例运行是否成功。

  a. 切换到测试用例目录。

```
cd tests/standard
```


  b. 修改“checktst”文件。

    1. 打开“checktst”文件。

```
vim checktst
```


    2. 按“i”进入编辑模式，修改第39行的内容，将“48”改为“47”。
    3. 按“Esc”键，输入:wq!，按“Enter”保存并退出编辑。
  c. 执行检测命令。

```
time ./checktst
```


    回显显示如下信息，则表示GAMESS安装成功。

```
All 47 testresults are correct!
```
