# 安装samtools-1.16.1

#### 操作步骤

1. 执行以下命令下载samtools源码包。

```
cd
/path/to
/athena_meta/dependences
wget https://github.com/samtools/samtools/releases/download/1.16.1/samtools-1.16.1.tar.bz2
```


2. 执行以下命令解压并进入源码目录。

```
tar -xvf samtools-1.16.1.tar.bz2
cd samtools-1.16.1
```


3. 执行以下命令编译安装。

```
make -j && make install
```
