Increasing the Dirty Page Refresh Frequency

Purpose

Modify the dirty page refresh parameter to increase the background refresh frequency of dirty pages.

Procedure

1. Modify dirty_background_ratio.

   1	echo 5 > /proc/sys/vm/dirty_background_ratio

2. Modify dirty_expire_centisecs.

   1	echo 2000 > /proc/sys/vm/dirty_expire_centisecs
