rbd snap rollback Command Suspended on the Client

Symptom

Ceph is suspended and the background snapshot task is not completed. The rollback command is suspended at 2%.

Key Process and Cause Analysis

In the /var/log/gcache/gcache.log file of the client, the "WaitRollbackSucc" message continues to appear.

Check whether the snapshot view in mgrtool has not been updated for a long time (for example, not updated for more than 30 minutes when the data is 100 GB).

In the /var/log/gcache/ccm/gcache.log file of the server, no "SnapMgrHandleRollBackSnapshotComplete" message exists.

Conclusion and Solution

Check whether the Ceph status is normal. After Ceph is restored, the background snapshot task completes properly and the rollback command is not suspended.
