Upgrade Constraints

  • Currently, the upgrade tool supports only the upgrade from Kunpeng BoostKit 22.0.RC5 to Kunpeng BoostKit 22.0.0.
  • Before the upgrade, ensure that the smartctl tool has been deployed on the node to be upgraded. For details, see 1 and 2.
  • It is not recommended that Global Cache services of different versions coexist in a cluster for a long time. You are advised to upgrade or roll back Global Cache on each node in a cluster to the same version.
  • During the upgrade, I/Os are blocked for a short period of time. After the upgrade is complete, I/Os are automatically restored.
  • During the upgrade, if the old and new versions coexist, only the functions of the old version are available.
  • The upgrade tool can be used to upgrade only the CCM and Global Cache services on the server.
