Installing the License Component

Ensure that you have applied for a license and go to Installing the License.

For details about how to apply for a license, see Preparing for Installation.

Installing the License

  1. Log in to the iBMC of the server using a browser and choose iBMC Settings > License Management > Install.

  2. Restart the server.

    Method 1:

    In the Virtual Console area of the iBMC home page, click Start, choose HTML5 Integrated Remote Console (Shared), and click Forced Restart.

    Method 2:

    Log in to the system and run the reboot command.

  3. View the KAE acceleration device (HPRE).
    • Method 1: Log in to the iBMC of the server using a browser and choose iBMC Settings > License Management.

    • Method 2: Log in to the OS.
