Introduction

The Topology Manager helps optimize resource allocation to improve system performance and shorten latencies. This document describes how to configure and use the Topology Manager on a Kunpeng server running CentOS or openEuler 20.03.

Topology Manager Overview

Topology Manager is a kubelet component used to coordinate a group of components that are responsible for these optimizations. This document is based on Kubernetes 1.12.2 and describes the topology management feature of this version, which implements NUMA alignment during CPU allocation.
