Introduction

QEMU Overview

QEMU is an open-source user space emulator and hypervisor that emulates a complete device in software without the hardware virtualization support. As a user space emulator, it uses the dynamic code translation mechanism to execute code of different architectures. As a hypervisor, it emulates the entire system and uses the hardware virtualization support provided by other VMs to create VMs with performance close to that of a host. For more information about QEMU, visit the QEMU official website.
