SPICE Not Found When Running the ./configure Command During QEMU Compilation

Symptom

During QEMU compilation, the following information is displayed when ./configure is executed:

User requested feature spice configure was not able to find it.

Key Process and Cause Analysis

The spice-server and spice-protocol installation packages are missing.

Conclusion and Solution

The header files are missing in SPICE and SPICE protocol which are installed using the yum source. Therefore, recompile and install SPICE and SPICE protocol. For details, see Installing the Dependencies.
