FreeIPA Compilation Failure

Symptom

When the FreeIPA software package is being compiled, the message "Installed (but unpackaged) file(s) found: /usr/share/selinux/packages/targeted/ipa.pp.bz2" is displayed. See the following figure:

Key Process and Cause Analysis

The rpm-build software package is incompatible with the SPEC file of the FreeIPA software package.

Conclusion and Solution

1. Comment out the lines highlighted in the following figures in the freeipa/freeipa.spec file:

   

   

2. Recompile the FreeIPA software package.
