Installing the Client

Procedure

1. Use PuTTY to log in to the server as the root user.
2. Go to the installation directory.

   cd /root/rpmbuild/SOURCES/lustre-2.12.2

3. Install the RPM packages of the client.

   rpm -ivh --nodeps kmod-lustre-client*.rpm lustre-client*.rpm lustre-iokit*.rpm
