Upgrade
You are advised to use Donau Scheduler to invoke the mpirun command.
You can upgrade Hyper MPI by decompressing and overwriting the earlier version. Alternatively, you can decompress and install the latest version to another directory. In this way, multiple versions can be retained at the same time.
- Method 1: Overwriting the earlier version
Upgrade Hyper MPI by referring to Installing Hyper MPI Using Source Code.
- Method 2: Installing the latest version to the other directory
Replace the source package installation path /path/to/install with /path/to/update and retain multiple Hyper MPI versions. For details, see Installing Hyper MPI Using Source Code.
- Source package indicates the name of the Hyper MPI installation package. Replace it with the name of the installation package obtained in the actual environment.
- /path/to/install indicates the original installation path of the Hyper MPI source package.
- /path/to/update indicates the directory used for the upgrade mode where multiple Hyper MPI versions can be retained.
