Installing CMake

Procedure

1. Use PuTTY to log in to the server as the root user.
2. Obtain the CMake installation package.

   wget https://cmake.org/files/v3.8/cmake-3.8.1.tar.gz

3. Decompress the CMake installation package.

   tar -zxvf cmake-3.8.1.tar.gz

4. Go to the directory generated after the decompression.

   cd cmake-3.8.1

5. Perform the configuration.

   ./configure --prefix=/path/to/CMAKE

6. Perform the compilation and installation.

   make -j64
   make install

7. Configure the environment variables.

   export PATH=/path/to/CMAKE/bin:$PATH
