Installation Modes

Table 1 describes four installation methods. Choose one based on your requirements.

Installation Method	Description	Remarks
Installing Apache by Compiling the Source Code	Install Apache from the source code.	You need to manually download the source code.
Installing Apache by Using an RPM Package Obtained from a Mirror Site	Download the RPM package from a mirror site and install it.	Manually download the RPM package from a mirror site.
Installing Apache by Using the Yum Source Obtained from a Mirror Site	Configure the network source of the mirror site to enable the RPM package to be downloaded and installed on a server directly. The server must be able to access the Internet. CentOS 8.1 and openEuler 20.03 are not supported.	Configure the network source and automatically download the RPM package from a mirror site.
Installing Apache by Using a Script (recommended)	Run a script to implement one-click compilation, deployment, and tuning. openEuler 20.03 is not supported.	Run a script to implement one-click compilation, deployment, and tuning.
