Obtaining the Source Code

Procedure

1. Download the HMMER and Easel installation packages.

   https://github.com/EddyRivasLab/easel/archive/refs/heads/master.zip

   

   • The official HMMER3 source package does not support the Arm architecture. Therefore, you are advised to download the H3-Arm source package from the GitHub repository. Compared with 3.3.2, the H3-Arm source package adapts to the Arm architecture.
   • See HMMER User's Guide (eddylab.org) for reference.
2. Use an SFTP tool to upload the HMMER and Easel installation packages to the /path/to/hmmer directory on the server.
