Upgrading the NVMe Firmware Version
- Check whether the codec card is correctly identified by the NVMe driver.
nvme list
If information shown in the following figure is displayed, the codec card is correctly identified.
If the firmware version (the FW Rev column in the figure) is earlier than 318X2013, perform the following steps to upgrade the firmware on the card:
- Obtain T4XX_V3.1.8_release.zip by referring to Software Environment.
- Upgrade the NVMe firmware version.
# unzip T4XX_V3.1.8_release.zip # cd T4XX_V3.1.8 # chmod +x t4xx_auto_upgrade.sh # ./t4xx_auto_upgrade.sh
The upgrade takes about 1 minute.
- Restart the system for the upgrade to take effect.
