Prerequisites

You have logged in to the Kunpeng DevKit.

  • Only the administrator devadmin can upgrade the dedicated software porting warehouse.
  • The dedicated software porting warehouse cannot be upgraded when a software porting task is ongoing.

Procedure

  1. Click in the upper right corner. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Tool Settings > Porting Advisor > Dedicated Software Porting Warehouse.
  2. Click Upgrade. Figure 1 is displayed.

  3. Click Select File and select the resource package of the dedicated software porting warehouse to be uploaded. If the verification is successful, click Upload, enter the password of the administrator, and click OK.
The upgrade progress dialog box is displayed. After the upgrade is complete, you can check the files in the dedicated software porting warehouse /opt/DevKit/devkitplugins/porting/resource/migration.
    • Do not close the current page during the upgrade process.
    • When you select the resource package of the dedicated software porting warehouse to be uploaded, the tool checks whether the resource package exists on the server. If yes, you need to delete it before performing the operation. When the resource package is being uploaded, the tool checks whether the version is the latest. If yes, the upgrade is not required.
    • If the upgrade fails, rectify the fault based on the error message displayed or by following instructions in Common Problems in Dedicated Software Porting Warehouse Management. For details about the fault information, check the /opt/DevKit/logs/porting/porting.log file.
    • /opt/DevKit is the tool installation directory. Replace it with the actual directory.
