Configuring the Threshold

Administrators can set project thresholds for a system migration task and report thresholds for an application migration task. If the Kunpeng DevKit generates too many reports for an application migration task, accumulated historical reports may occupy too much drive space.

Prerequisites

You have installed the Kunpeng DevKit.

Only the administrator devadmin can set thresholds.

System Migration

  1. Click in the upper right corner of the page. Choose Tool Settings > Porting Advisor.
  2. Click Threshold Settings to set system migration project thresholds. See Figure 1.

    Parameter

    Description

Warning Threshold of Migration Projects Per User

When this threshold is reached, the user can still create projects. However, a message is displayed recommending the user to remove a certain number of projects from the system migration task. The value ranges from 1 to 49 and the default value is 40.

Maximum Threshold of Migration Projects Per User

When this threshold is reached, a message is displayed indicating that the user's project space is full and no more projects can be created. The user must remove a certain number of projects from the system migration task. The value ranges from 2 to 50 and the default value is 50.

    • Warning Threshold of Migration Projects Per User must be smaller than Maximum Threshold of Migration Projects Per User.
    • Warning Threshold of Migration Projects Per System must be smaller than Maximum Threshold of Migration Projects Per System.

Application Migration

  1. Click in the upper right corner of the page. Choose Tool Settings > Porting Advisor.
  2. Click Threshold Settings and set Report Warning Threshold and Maximum Report Threshold. See Figure 2.

    Parameter

    Description

    Report Warning Threshold

When this threshold is reached, a message is displayed asking the user to delete some historical reports to release drive space. In this case, the tool use is not affected. The value ranges from 1 to 49 and the default value is 40.

    Maximum Report Threshold

When this threshold is reached, a message is displayed indicating that the number of reports has reached the maximum value and no more tasks can be created. The user must delete unnecessary historical reports. The value ranges from 2 to 50 and the default value is 50.

Report Warning Threshold must be smaller than Maximum Report Threshold.
