Importing a KAE License File
Intelligent Baseboard Management Controller (iBMC) is an embedded server management system that is used to manage servers in their entire life cycles. It provides a series of management tools for server hardware status monitoring, deployment, energy saving, and security. Standard interfaces help build a more comprehensive server management ecosystem.
Before installing the KAE, you need to install a license so that the OS can identify the accelerators.
iBMC V316 and later use license files to control version functions. A license file is an authorization file generated using a dedicated encryption tool based on the contract signed by you and Huawei as well as the server information. After obtaining the license file, load it to iBMC and activate the permission to use iBMC.
Currently, iBMC supports three types of licenses.

How to Obtain
You can purchase the matching license in the same contract when purchasing a server or purchase a license separately.
Then you can use the license to obtain the license file that can be used on the iBMC.
Applying for a License File
A purchased license must be activated on the ESDP before being used on iBMC. You can obtain the activation code from the license authorization certificate delivered with the product.
If the ESN changes due to mainboard replacement, obtain the license revocation code from iBMC, obtain the server ESN, and contact Huawei technical support to obtain a new commercial license file from the ESDP. For details about how to apply for and use a license file, see Huawei Server iBMC License User Guide.
