Managing Sampling Analysis Results

Prerequisites

A sampling analysis task has been created and started.

Managing Sampling Analysis Tasks

Click the target environment under Java Profiler, and then click Sampling Profiling under Task/Report List. See Figure 1.

Click next to an analysis task to export the sampling analysis file and save it to the local PC.

Click next to an analysis task to delete the sampling analysis file.

  • Deleting an analysis task will delete all historical data of the analysis task. Exercise caution when performing this operation.
  • If you delete a sampling report that is opened on the current tab page, the tab page is reserved temporarily. After you close or refresh the tab page, the report data is deleted.

Configuring Sampling Report Thresholds

The administrator can modify the sampling report threshold, and common users can only view the threshold.

  1. In the upper right corner of the page, choose > Tool Settings > Java Profiler > Threshold Settings.

The Threshold Settings tab page is displayed. See Figure 2.

Figure 2 Threshold Settings tab page
  2. Modify parameter settings.
Change Sampling Warning Threshold and Maximum Sampling Threshold as required.

The number of sampling analysis reports is limited. By default, a warning message is displayed when the number of sampling analysis reports is greater than or equal to 8, and a message prompting you to delete old reports is displayed when this number is greater than or equal to 15. A maximum of 20 sampling reports can be configured. When the number of sampling reports reaches the maximum threshold, new tasks cannot be created if no old records are deleted.
