Tool Information
Interleaved or Random (IOR) is a parallel file system test developed by the Scalable I/O Project (SIOP) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). IOR is used to test the I/O performance of parallel Portable Operating System Interface (POSIX) and MPI-IO. The parallel program writes and reads files in several groups of conditions, and reports the generated throughput.
