Introduction
Lustre is a cluster-oriented storage architecture. It is an open-source cluster (parallel) file system based on the Linux platform and provides file system interfaces compatible with POSIX. Lustre features high scalability and high performance. It supports tens of thousands of client systems, PB-scale storage capacity, and hundreds of GB aggregated I/O throughput.
