Checking Whether KAE Hardware Devices Are Enabled by the License

Question

After the license is installed, how do I check whether the license has enabled KAE hardware devices?

Answer

You can use either of the following methods:

• Accessing the BIOS Setup Utility

  Press Esc to go to the BIOS Setup Utility and choose Advanced > Accelerators Status. If the following information is displayed, the devices are installed.

  

• Running the lspci command on the CLI of the OS

  Run the lspci | grep "xxx" command (xxx indicates the driver module, which can be HPRE, SEC, RDE, or ZIP). If the following information is displayed, the license has enabled the KAE hardware devices.
