Configuring the BIOS
Restarting the Server and Entering the BIOS Settings Page
Log in to the remote server management platform and access the remote virtual console. After the system startup screen is displayed, press Del or F4 to access the BIOS screen.
Configuring Performance Options
- On the BIOS settings page, choose Advanced > Performance Config.
- On the Performance Config page, set Power Policy to Performance.

Configuring MISC Options
- On the BIOS settings page, choose Advanced > MISC Config.
- On the MISC Config screen, set Support Smmu to Disabled and Support 44Bit to Enabled.

Configuring Memory Options
- On the BIOS settings page, choose Advanced > Memory Config.
- On the Memory Config screen, set Memory Frequency to 2933 and Custom Refresh Rate to Auto.

Configuring PCIe Options
- On the BIOS settings page, choose Advanced > PCIe Config.
- On the PCIe Config screen, configure PCIe splitting options first.
Set the bandwidth splitting option of the slots where the encoding cards are installed to x2. For example, if the encoding cards are installed in slots 3 and 6, set Slot3 BandWidth Splitting and Slot6 BandWidth Splitting to x2.

- Save and exit BIOS configuration.
- Access the server OS. Run the nvme command to check whether the PCIe splitting function takes effect.
The NETINT encoding cards use the NVMe protocol. If NVMe is not installed in the environment, install it.

After installing the NETINT encoding cards, run the following command to check whether the cards are correctly identified:

One NETINT T432 card has four chips, corresponding to four device nodes. The preceding output shows two NETINT T432 cards, which correspond to eight device nodes.
- On the BIOS settings page, choose Advanced > PCIe Config. On the PCIe Config screen, set the PCIe max payload size. On the CPU 0 PCIe Configuration and CPU 1 PCIe Configuration screens, set Max Payload Size to 512B for all PCIe ports.
