Set Slot3 BandWidth Splitting and Slot6 BandWidth Splitting to x2. (The encoding cards locate in slots 3 and 6.)

  3. Save and exit BIOS configuration to enable the server to access the OS. Run the nvme command to check whether the PCIe splitting function takes effect.

The NETINT encoding cards use the NVMe protocol. If NVMe is not installed in the environment, install it.

    apt install nvme-cli

After installing the NETINT encoding cards, run the following command to check whether the cards are correctly identified:

    nvme list

If the following information is displayed, the cards are correctly installed:

One NETINT T432 card has four chips, corresponding to four device nodes. The preceding figure includes two NETINT T432 cards, which correspond to eight device nodes.

  4. On the BIOS settings page, choose Advanced > PCIe Config. On the PCIe Config screen, set the PCIe max payload size. On the CPU 0 PCIe Configuration and CPU 1 PCIe Configuration screens, set Max Payload Size to 512B for all PCIe ports.
