Configuring the Memory

Purpose

Change the quantity, frequency, and insertion method of the DIMMs to improve the memory performance.

Procedure

Use the Computing Product Memory Configuration Assistant to configure DIMMs.

It is recommended that each CPU is fully configured with eight DDR4 2933 MHz 2-rank DIMMs, which occupy eight channels and maximize memory performance.
