Overview

In this case, the same Ceph cluster is used for the back-end Ceph in the hybrid deployment. Different storage pools are divided for the Ceph cluster to interconnect with different AZs, implementing storage AZ isolation.

If VMs in the hybrid deployment cluster use only local LVM volumes (that is, option 1 in Installing and Configuring the Storage Nodes), you do not need to install and deploy the back-end Ceph cluster. Skip this section.
