Installing a Tool

The Kunpeng DevKit has been installed on the remote server.

Common users do not have the permission to install tools. To install a tool, please contact the administrator (devadmin).
Before installing a tool, you need to stop all running tasks. Otherwise, task analysis may fail.
The Affinity Analyzer can be installed only on servers powered by the Kunpeng 920 processor.
If a message is displayed indicating that a file is missing during the tool installation, install the missing dependency file by following the instructions in Installing the Missing Dependency.

Log in to the Kunpeng DevKit home page as the devadmin user. Click in the upper right corner. In the navigation tree on the left, choose Tool Management. The Tool Management page is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.

Select the tool to be installed. The tool can be installed online or offline. If the Kunpeng DevKit is in an isolated environment, you can install the tool offline.
- Online installation
  Click Online Installation in the lower right corner of the tool to be installed. The tool is installed in the background, and the installation progress is displayed in the lower right corner. After the installation is complete, you can use the tool.
- Offline installation
  1. Click Offline Mode on the Tool Management screen. See Figure 2.

  2. Click the link to obtain the required tool package. If the tool package is already available on your local PC, drag the tool package to the upload area or click Upload to upload the tool package to the server.
  3. After the upload is successful, click Install/Upgrade. The installation progress is displayed in the lower right corner. After the installation is complete, you can use the tool.
After the tool package is successfully installed, you can create an analysis task in the navigation pane on the left of the workspace.
