Creating a Comparison Analysis Task

Prerequisites

One or more tuning analysis tasks have been created and completed.

Procedure

1. Click next to Tuning Assistant and choose Create Comparison Analysis from the drop-down list. The New TunAssist_Comparison Task page is displayed. The system provides two analysis modes. See Table 1.

   Table 1 Comparison modes

   Analysis Mode	Description
   Node-to-Node Comparison	Compares the analysis results between different nodes in the same task.
   Task-to-Task Comparison	Compares the analysis results between different tasks on the same node or different nodes.

2. (Optional) Select Node-to-Node Comparison.
   1. Select different nodes under the same task. You can click to exchange the positions of comparison objects 1 and 2.

   2. Click OK.
3. (Optional) Select Task-to-Task Comparison.
   1. Select two nodes under different tasks and click to exchange the positions of comparison objects 1 and 2.

   2. Click OK.
4. (Optional) Delete a task.
   

   After a task is deleted, all historical data of the task will be deleted. Exercise caution when performing this operation.

   1. Select a task on the left and click on the right of the selected task.

   2. Click OK in the displayed dialog box.
5. (Optional) Change a task name.
   1. Select a comparison analysis task on the left and click on the right of the selected task.

   2. Enter the new task name and click OK.
   

   The task name must meet the following requirement:

   • Contain 1 to 64 characters, including letters, digits, and underscores (_).
