Upgrading a Dependency Dictionary
If the current dependency dictionary is not the latest version, download the latest dependency dictionary from the Kunpeng community to perform an upgrade.
Prerequisites
You have logged in to the Kunpeng DevKit.
- Only the administrator devadmin can upgrade the dependency dictionary.
- The dependency dictionary cannot be decrypted without the OpenSSL component on the OS. Ensure that the OpenSSL version in the current environment is 1.0.2k or later.
- The dependency dictionary cannot be upgraded when a task is ongoing.
Procedure
- Click
in the upper right corner. In the navigation tree on the left, choose Tool Settings > Porting Advisor. The Dependency Dictionary Management page is displayed by default. - Click Upgrade on the right of the selected dependency dictionary. See Figure 1.
- Click Select File and select the dependency dictionary to be uploaded. After the verification is complete, click Upload, enter the administrator password, and click OK.
The upgrade progress dialog box is displayed. After the upgrade is complete, check the dependency dictionary in the /opt/DevKit/config/dependency_dictionary directory.
- Do not close the current page during the upgrade process.
- When you select the dependency dictionary to be uploaded, the tool checks whether the package exists on the server. If yes, you need to delete it before performing the operation. When the file is being uploaded, the tool checks whether the file is of the latest version. If yes, the file cannot be uploaded and no upgrade is required.
- If the upgrade fails, rectify the fault based on the error message displayed or by referring to the FAQs in the user guide. For details about the fault information, check the /opt/DevKit/logs/porting/porting.log file.
- /opt is the tool installation directory. Replace it with the actual directory.
