Changing the Login User Password

Prerequisites

You have logged in to the Kunpeng DevKit.

The password of the Kunpeng DevKit user is valid for 90 days. To ensure the tool environment security, you are advised to set a validity period (7 to 180 days) and change the password periodically before it expires. If the password has expired, change the password immediately after login.

Procedure

1. Open the login user drop-down list in the upper right corner and choose Change Password.
   The Change Password page is displayed, as shown in Figure 1. Table 1 describes the parameters.

   Parameter	Description
   User Name	Name of the current login user.
   Old Password	Current password to be changed.
   New Password	New password to be used. The password must meet the following complexity requirements: Contain 8 to 32 characters. Contain at least two types of the following characters: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and special characters `~!@#$%^&*()-_=+\|[{}];:'",<.>/? Cannot contain any space. Cannot be the same as the user name or the user name in reverse order. Cannot contain more than two consecutive characters of the user name. Cannot be the same as the old password. Cannot be the old password in reverse order. Cannot be a password in the weak password dictionary.
   Confirm Password	Password re-entered for confirmation.

2. Change the password according to Table 1 and click OK.
   

   After the password is changed, you need to use the new password for the next login.
