Creating a User

Prerequisites

You have logged in to the Kunpeng DevKit.

• Only the administrator devadmin can create users.
• To prevent system security problems caused by password leakage or other users accessing your account, do not select Remember password during login on a public network or public computer.

Procedure

1. Click in the upper right corner of the page. In the navigation tree on the left, choose General Settings > User Management.
2. Click Create. The Create User page is displayed, as shown in Figure 1. Table 1 describes the parameters to be set.

   Parameter	Description
   User Name	Name of the user to be created. The user name must meet the following requirements: Start with an English letter. Contain 6 to 32 characters. Allow letters, digits, hyphens (-), and underscores (_).
   Workspace	Root directory of the code uploaded by the user. This parameter cannot be modified.
   Administrator Password	Password of the administrator.
   New Password	Password of the user to be created. The password must meet the following complexity requirements: Contain 8 to 32 characters. Contain at least two types of the following characters: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and special characters `~!@#$%^&*()-_=+\|[{}];:'",<.>/? Cannot contain any space. Cannot be the same as the user name or the user name in reverse order. Cannot contain more than two consecutive characters of the user name. Cannot be a password in the weak password dictionary.
   Confirm Password	Password re-entered for confirmation.

3. Configure the new user by following instructions in Table 1 and click OK.
   

   • There is no limit on the number of common users.
   • A maximum of 20 common users can be online at the same time. This number can be configured in System Settings.
   • Common users can create analysis tasks, view and download operation logs, configure parameters for scanning, view web server certificate information, and view and search weak passwords. All users can view, download, and delete only their own reports.
