System Settings

Prerequisites

You have installed the Kunpeng DevKit.

Only the administrator devadmin can perform system settings. Common users have only the view permission.

Procedure

  1. Click in the upper right corner of the page. Choose General Settings > System Settings. The System Settings page is displayed.
  2. Set the parameters as required. See Figure 1. Table 1 describes the parameters.

    Parameter

    Description

    Max. Online Common Users

    Maximum number of concurrent online common users. The value ranges from 1 to 20. The default value is 10.

    Session Timeout Period (min)

    Session timeout period. The default value is 30. The value ranges from 10 to 10080.

    Server Certificate Expiration Alarm Threshold (days)

    Alarm threshold for server certificate expiration. The default value is 90. The value ranges from 7 to 180.

    Agent Certificate Expiration Alarm Threshold (days)

    Alarm threshold for certificate expiration on an agent node. The default value is 90. The value ranges from 7 to 180.

    Operation Log Retention (days)

    Storage duration of operation logs. The system automatically clears logs at 01:00 a.m. every day, and deletes logs that exceed the storage duration. The value ranges from 90 to 180 days and defaults to 90 days.

    NOTE:

    The following two situations may cause the inconsistency between the actual log retention and configured log retention:

    • If the number of operation logs of a single user exceeds 20,000, the earliest logs will be overwritten.
    • If the total number of operation logs exceeds 1 million, the logs of the top 10 users are used to overwrite the earliest logs.

    Run Log Level
    • DEBUG: debugging information for fault locating.
    • INFO: key information about the normal running of the service.
    • WARNING: events about the system in unexpected status that does not affect the running of the system.
    • ERROR: errors that may not affect the application running.
    • CRITICAL: critical errors that cause improper application running.

    Certificate Validity Check

    Indicates whether to check the certificate validity.

    Password Validity Period (days)

    The options are as follows:

    • Permanently valid
    • Custom: The default value is 90 days. The value range is 7 to 180 days.
