Overview

GCC for openEuler is developed, optimized, and enhanced based on the open-source GCC. In addition, the GCC baseline version is periodically upgraded. The version upgrade will change the default behavior of the compiler, for example, stricter syntax check and changed default options. This section describes the impact of the upgrade to GCC for openEuler and the compatibility between GCC for openEuler and open-source GCC.
