Overview

This document describes the ExaGear's working principles, technical constraints, installation, upgrade, configuration, and security hardening in server scenarios.

The host system refers to the Arm 64-bit GNU/Linux, and the guest system refers to the x86 GNU/Linux running on the host system.

Note that following formatting conventions are used in examples in this document:

  • <os_version> indicates the version of the supported OS.
  • <package_version> indicates a version of the ExaGear installation package. During installation, use the actual version number obtained from the installation package.
