Configuring the Memory
Principle
Each CPU is fully configured with eight DDR4 2933 MHz 2-rank DIMMs, which occupy eight channels and maximize memory performance. According to the STREAM test, the memory bandwidth (Triad) can reach 260 GB/s when the TaiShan 200 2280 or X6000 is configured with two Kunpeng 920 48-core 2.6 GHz CPUs and the memory refresh interval is 32 ms; a 64-core 2.6 GHz CPU can provide a bandwidth of 283 GB/s.
Procedure
- Run the following command to check the main frequency and number of DIMMs:
dmidecode -t memory |grep "Configured Clock Speed:"
Figure 1 shows the command output.
