Deployment Modes

Big data and AI applications differ greatly in deployment and networking modes. They pose demanding requirements on software installation and deployment. The BoostIO distributed cache layer works on the C/S architecture. It can be deployed on bare metal nodes or containers (VMs). Both of the deployment patterns can be further classified into converged deployment, separated deployment, and independent deployment. The following figures show the three types of deployment on bare metal nodes.
